What Meaterm is
Meaterm is a browser-based market-research terminal for independent traders that puts charting, macro data, CFTC COT positioning, SEC fundamentals and on-chain analytics in one workspace — research only, not financial advice.
Meaterm is operated by Hiram OÜ (Estonia).
Meaterm is not related to MEATER or its meat thermometers.
What it is not
Meaterm is research only. It does not execute trades, connect to brokers, hold funds or give financial advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. The full statement is in the Risk Disclaimer.
It is built for research, not for trading in the moment: equity and index prices are delayed or end-of-day, and macro series, CFTC positioning and company filings update on their publishers’ schedules. The FAQ lists the sources.
Why we built it
Meaterm started with a simple frustration: the research tools professional desks use every day — clean charts, positioning data, broad cross-asset context — were priced for institutions, not individuals.
The technology was never the barrier. Positioning data, macro dashboards, on-chain metrics and clean cross-asset charting were all already possible. What was missing was a product built around how an independent trader or investor actually works, instead of a repackaged institutional terminal priced accordingly.
So that’s what we built: one workspace that brings charting, positioning, macro context and on-chain data together, at a price that doesn’t assume you’re managing someone else’s fund.
Every feature starts with a simple question: does this make a trader's research better? If not, it doesn't ship.
We publish our system status publicly, communicate pricing clearly, and never hide fees or dark patterns.
Markets are noisy enough. We filter relentlessly so you see what matters.
We listen to every piece of feedback and treat the product as permanently unfinished.
Most figures on Meaterm start in someone else’s file, so we publish how the COT positioning figures are computed and the data errors we have corrected since 26 September 2026: methodology and errata. The weekly CFTC positioning table is free and needs no account: the weekly COT report. Research only, not financial advice.
