It is our own name, not a misspelling of "Terminal" — we wanted something short and ownable for a cross-asset research terminal that would not get lost among a dozen similarly-named products. No hidden meaning beyond that. On security and coverage: everything runs on institutional, public-domain data sources (see "How accurate is the data" below), your funds and broker credentials never touch Meaterm (see "Which brokers does Meaterm connect to"), and the company is EU-hosted and GDPR-compliant.

Macro, rates, COT and fundamentals come from official public-domain sources (FRED, CFTC, SEC, ECB, World Bank) and update on their native schedules. Crypto is live from exchange data; equities and indices are delayed/end-of-day. Meaterm is a research terminal, not an execution venue, so it is built for analysis rather than millisecond order routing. All data is provided “as is” and may be delayed or revised by the upstream source.

None — and that is by design, not a missing feature. Meaterm is analysis-only: it does not place trades, hold funds, or connect to a brokerage account, so there is no order-flow revenue, no payment-for-order-flow, and no in-house desk with a reason to steer you toward one instrument over another. The research is the product, not a funnel toward a trade. You do your research here and execute on whichever broker or exchange you already use — that also keeps your capital and credentials entirely outside Meaterm.
