Is Meaterm regulated?
No. Hiram OÜ is not authorised or supervised as an investment firm, broker, adviser, fund manager, or crypto-asset service provider by any regulator. Meaterm is a research and analytics tool. Nothing on the platform is investment advice. See our Risk Disclaimer for the full statement.
Can I rely on Meaterm for my trading decisions?
No. Meaterm is a research and analytics tool, not an adviser, and owes you no fiduciary duty. Every output — data, charts, indicators, regime scores, signals, AI briefings, and prediction-market probabilities — is for information only and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. All trading and investment decisions are yours alone; do not rely solely on Meaterm outputs. See our Risk Disclaimer.
Can I use Meaterm data in my own trading bot or research product?
For personal, internal research and trading: yes. For redistribution, resale, or building a competing service: no — see our API Terms sections 5 and 6. If you want a commercial redistribution arrangement, contact api@meaterm.com.
How accurate is the AI Weekly Briefing?
The Intelligence Brief is generated by AI models and is not reviewed by a human analyst. AI can produce factual errors, outdated information, or misleading inferences. Treat it as a starting point for your own research, not as a verified report.
Where is my data stored, and who can access it?
Account data is stored in the EU. We disclose every sub-processor in our Privacy Policy section 5. We never sell personal data. You can export your data and request deletion at any time from the account settings page.
Does Meaterm store my portfolio and watchlist data, and for how long?
Yes — your watchlists, saved workspaces, notes, and preferences are stored so the product works across sessions. They live in our EU database (Supabase, Frankfurt), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We keep them while your account is active and delete them when you delete your account (removed automatically via cascading foreign keys). You can export a machine-readable copy or delete everything at any time from Dashboard → Security. We never sell this data.
What financial instruments does Meaterm cover?
Equities (U.S. and major global), crypto-assets, FX pairs, macroeconomic indicators, COT positioning data, and prediction-market signals (Polymarket). Coverage and feed quality depend on the data plan; see the Pricing page.
Who provides the market data?
Macroeconomic and regulatory data come from public-domain official sources — FRED (U.S. Federal Reserve), the CFTC (Commitments of Traders), SEC EDGAR (company filings), the World Bank, Eurostat, and the ECB (FX reference rates). Prediction-market data comes from Polymarket. Real-time equity and crypto quotes are sourced from third-party market-data providers. All data is provided “as is”, may be delayed or revised by upstream providers, and is not guaranteed accurate or complete.
How accurate is the data, and is it real-time?
Macro, rates, COT, and fundamentals update on their official source schedules; crypto is live from exchange data; equities and indices are delayed or end-of-day. Meaterm is a research terminal, not an execution venue — it is built for analysis, not millisecond order routing. Treat every figure as informational and possibly delayed or revised; see the Risk Disclaimer.
Which brokers does Meaterm connect to?
None — by design. Meaterm is analysis-only: it never places trades, holds funds, or links to a brokerage. You research here and execute on whichever broker or exchange you already use, which keeps your capital and credentials entirely outside Meaterm.
How is Meaterm different from TradingView or Bloomberg?
TradingView is great charting; Bloomberg is a ~$2,000/month institutional terminal. Is there a free plan or a free trial?
Both. A permanent free tier (dashboard, basic charts, screener, limited news) and a 14-day free trial on every paid plan — no card is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime. See Pricing.
