Install Meaterm as a web app

Meaterm runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download. Install it from your browser and it opens in its own window, with its own icon, on the same Meaterm account.

Installing is free on every plan, including Free. The web app is the same Meaterm you use in a browser tab, so it needs an internet connection.

Chrome or Edge on a computer

Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS

  1. 1Open meaterm.com in Chrome or Edge
  2. 2Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install
  3. 3Confirm with Install. Meaterm opens in its own window and joins your other apps

Safari on a Mac

macOS Sonoma or later

  1. 1Open meaterm.com in Safari
  2. 2Choose File → Add to Dock
  3. 3Click Add. Meaterm opens from the Dock in its own window

iPhone & iPad

Safari

  1. 1Open meaterm.com in Safari
  2. 2Tap the Share icon (the square with an up arrow)
  3. 3Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add

Android

Chrome

  1. 1Open meaterm.com in Chrome
  2. 2Tap the ⋮ menu (top right)
  3. 3Choose Install app (or Add to Home screen)
