Meaterm (Hiram OÜ, Estonia) is a cross-asset research terminal for independent traders — charting, macro, positioning, on-chain and prediction-market intelligence in one workspace, from €9.99/month. We sit in the gap between TradingView’s charting and the Bloomberg Terminal’s €2,000/month institutional suite.

The opportunity

Millions of independent traders are stuck choosing between charting-only tools and institutional terminals they can’t afford. The cross-asset research layer — macro regime, CFTC positioning, on-chain flows, event/prediction-market probabilities, AI synthesis — has never been packaged affordably for them. That is the wedge.

The structural moat: data cost

Competitors carry heavy market-data bills. Meaterm is engineered so the majority of its stack runs on free, public-domain, commercially-licensed sources — SEC EDGAR, the U.S. Federal Reserve (FRED), CFTC, the ECB, the World Bank, Coinbase and Polymarket. That keeps cost of goods structurally low and gross margin high, while the equity-quote layer is a single, contained vendor line we can add as revenue scales. The result: institutional-style breadth at consumer-SaaS economics.

Business model

Freemium SaaS: a permanent free tier for top-of-funnel, converting to Pro (€9.99/mo) and Premium (€19.99/mo), billed via Stripe with a 14-day trial. Growth channels: content/SEO, an affiliate program for trading creators, and product-led referral. Recurring revenue, low marginal cost to serve, EU-based.

Traction

Current metrics — registered users, paying subscribers, MRR, trial-to-paid conversion and month-over-month growth — are drawn from the signup-funnel analytics running in the product and shared in the data room on request.

The raise & use of funds

We are pursuing a blend of non-dilutive Estonian/EU funding (e.g. EIS start-up & digitalisation grants, KredEx, Startup Wise Guys, EstBAN angels) and a focused pre-seed round. Capital goes to: (1) the licensed equity-data feed that completes coverage, (2) growth/marketing, and (3) key hires.
